  • learnt a lot of makaton and communication with EAL families has improved. have had a lot of help with behaviour managment, knowledge on legislation has improved due to course.

  • i enjoy it a lot. the people i work with are great and help a lot when i need it

  • well structured. i know where the support is if i need it and mentor is very supportive

  • employer provides a lot of support when needed and often checks up to see how i am getting on

  • always provides enough support and can't fault her.

  • there are definitley some things that are given that are easier to work through as my role is very hands on. there have been somethings that i havent needed to take into practice. qualification generally has helped with performance

  • I am training to be Bucket time lead in the setting. i have previously done BLAST sessions and taken the proper training for it

  • Yes

  • generally could not fault my assessor and think she has helped a lot and has pushed me to make sure i provide my best abilities in my coursework.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to YMCA?
  • do it. assessment days are not something to stress about so make sure that you are prepared. its easy to fall behind so just make sure that you stay on top of big assignments
