my job role includes assisting with personal care, assisting with nutrition intake, the wellbeing of each individuals needs are met on a daily basis, to record and document relevant information and to ensure all information is confidential and passed over to my coworkers.
I have learnt that you can learn new skills on a daily basis and sharing knowledge with your team makes the best possible experience for the person at the centre of their own care.
I found that if you put your mind to learning new skills anything is possible especially with the right tutor.
I felt I got the support that I needed.
I had a lot of support from my line manager and clinical lead.
I have had the pleasure of having a tutor that I couldn't fault.
I'm hoping that I can further and contribute more in my current role.
As part of our team we do socially meet up outside of work im very lucky to have such good friends and work colleagues.
