Support the work of the Council by linking with local priorities and action. Working with a range of stakeholders and partners to establish joint working opportunities and to deliver major public sector projects in infrastructure, health and care.
This first year has given a great insight into the range of learning for the next 3 years. I have learnt a lot about myself an the way I interact with others and has created and developed a range of personal skills that I am now utilizing to bring out the best in myself and the groups of people that I manage.
The programme gives me time to reflect on my learning and also the overall workings of the Council, introduces me to new ways of working and looking at the organisation I am part of. This is very enjoyable.
Very well, we have clear modules and have a plan for the next 3 years.
As much as I need, I am supported by my line manager and a mentor. However as a mature student I am able to call upon this support as and when needed and appreciate that UCLAN does not prescribe how this support must be given.
Support is always available in a format that is easy for me to access.
Greatly - I have already started working in a different way and have also encouraged change within my peer group.
