Carrying out CAD Modifications to design drawings, attending standards briefings.

I enjoy my day to day work. I have a good team around me who are always available to help or give advice.
Well organised. Good induction & introduction to the team. Training both in college and in the workplace was well structured. Support is always on hand from colleagues and managers. Tasks are delegated well and there is a clear hierarchy in the department.
Regular reviews with line manager and apprenticeship scheme manager. Support always available. Any issues dealt with swiftly.
Support is always available be it assistance with the work or time to complete work towards the qualification. Having people in the department who went through the programme before me means they are on hand to help and talk me through the work.
Some of the work done on the qualification has been transferred into my day to day working such as the use of the electrical design tools & software but other parts such as the use of manufacturing tools (mills, lathes etc...) I don't feel was particularly relevant to my job.
Infrequent social events take place. Christmas parties take place each year. Coffee roulette where you meet a randomly drawn colleague monthly / fortnightly for a coffee and chat is a good networking method offered by the company.
Yes
Huge company with many routes for upward progression. Good levels of support.
Application was quick and easy. Assessment day / interview was thorough and involved different team working tasks as well as individual interview. Onboarding process was quite easy as there were good lines of communication with a clear plan of what needed to be done and when it needed to be done by. Plenty of opportunities within the company.
