I'm a developer on a government contract. I create applications in C++ and Java.
I've learnt a lot of skills such as SQL, Java, C++, Testing.
I thoroughly enjoy the programme, I enjoy the work aspect more so than the university aspect as I learn more on the job!
I feel valued by my team and accenture. My team make sure I feel valued and regularly set me goals to help me improve.
It is well structured however one day of university a week makes it hard to balance work and university as I can often be swamped with work!
I receive a good support.
I get great support from my team and my employer.
Its a reasonable salary considering we are getting a £9000 a year course paid for by the company, however it still can be tricky on apprentice wages.
There are a number of opportunities outside work, events, volunteering and social do's.
Yes
The people are great and the company is vastly growing, there's a role for everyone and if your not happy the company will help find a role suited for you!
Be enthusiastic about learning, improving and show a real interest in IT!
