Audit Associate - work on a number of audits with higher team members with in the business. I have also trained towards the professional accountancy qualification while working with the firm. I have travelled to client site which varies but is predominantly around Cambridgeshire.
I have enhanced my excel skills drastically and interpersonal skills by working with a different people in different teams.
I have enjoyed parts like with any job. A good thing is the day to day varies and therefore is not the same thing everyday which can be tedious.
The programme is well regulated and follows the same pathway as a university graduate.
You are assigned a manager who you will know on a personal and professional level as well as being paired with a more seasoned colleague which will help you on a day to day basis.
You will be placed into a college class like environment with exceptional teaching. Online learning is also provided.
The qualification teaches you the theory behind accounting and the necessary regulations - this helps although is slightly different to the day to day audit work which expects you to apply what you have learnt.
There are committees to get involved in. There is also social events that take place throughout the year.
