I mainly work in a technical role providing support for customers who buy Fujitsu Hardware. However, I also provide professional Services to deliver solutions to customers. However I am also looking to increase my skills in the digital transformation such as AI and Data.
I am learning new skills in Data and AI, which is also where the company is focusing its vision. I have also been provided with various learning platforms such as Pluralsight and LinkedIn Learning to develop my skills but also all the training in the apprenticeship from WhiteHat as well.
The Apprenticeship with WhiteHat is very good, they have monthly 1-2-1 coaching sessions with every apprentice to ensure the right support is given. the overall training is very good and there are lots of discussions with other apprentices in the community on WhiteHat too.
The programme is structured very well with clear deadlines and modules set out in the calendar. I find the learning is easily accessible though the portals and Slack for community sharing of OTJ training.
I receive good support from management and have regular 1-2-1's to discuss how the apprenticeship is going and have support for learning from my mentors too.
I receive a lot of support from our WhiteHat coach and regular meetings. not only do they support you on the learning but they also ensure your mental health is good and if there is anything they can help with to ensure you have enough time to complete the courses.
After learning everything in this apprenticeship it should allow me to progress my career into other roles which are more competitive in the industry. I am very passionate about learning new skills and developing soft skills too in the process.
There are opportunities to get "Perks at Work" which include discounts. there is alos a Gym membership option for Fujitsu employees. the Gym is hosted on-site by Nuffield Health and is solely for Fujitsu Employees to use.
