My role now is a Branch manager this is due to the fact that I completed my Level 3 apprenticeship with Travis perkins. The training was simple and easy to follow and worth every hour of effort I put in. I recommend it to every person I work with and now have a team of 9 under me and have 2 of my team on the apprenticeships and will push others too after they have completed it.
Yes many, From English and maths which I wasn't great at from School but the support from my mentor was amazing!
It was one of the best things I have ever done in education
It was great with locations all over the country you could easily pick one that was close by which helps with meeting people who operate and work in your area building relationships that never fail!
All I needed. from hire cars to train tickets. Honestly anything i needed it was there, the only exception was computer access when using certain sites as there wasn't always access to a computer so you had to buy your own laptop .
all the support I needed was there
It changes you as a person in a really good way. It makes you think about everything differently and see things you would never notice before.
Not particularly, other than what we arrange ourselves at branch
Yes
They are a really good company to work for, even though they are a large PLC you feel like what you say and do matters
Be open and honest and what ever you want out of the role you will get it, I started in a sales position and 5 years later i have a branch of my own through determination and hard work.
