My current role is Assistant Manager running the branch day to day with a particular focus on the operational side of branch e.g. transport and warehouse.
The management apprentice has really helped me develop as a person and helped me discover new methods the help things such as time keeping and organisation.
I thoroughly enjoyed the programme, it was a good chance to meet new people and network.
The programme is well organised and structured with deadlines preset for the whole module and a mentor to help keep you on track.
From my mentor, to branch manager, to regional director, any support I needed I had people there to help.
All the support is there if you ask for it.
It has shown me that there is a lot of different methods that you can incorporate into your day to day life that will support you as a manager.
Through out the programme we were able to put forward events to help us network which all got authorised.
Yes
The opportunities and endless with different paths you can take.
Be honest about your experience and just be yourself. Before starting I had no experience in the industry but they saw potential during my interviews and I was successful.
