I am a branch manager of a plumbers merchant within the Travis Perkins Group. My role involves me leading a team of staff, overseeing stock control, transport, sales, health and safety.
On the program I learnt how to manage staff and also myself. It also gave me a deeper understanding of the way a business runs and how to deal with the difficult situations that will arise.
i enjoyed it very much and look forward to in the future expanding upon that which I learnt.
i was in the first intake and in the beginning we had some issues but they were worked out in the end.
I received a massive amount of support and continue to and its in part thanks to the program that I received my promotion in March 2020 to branch manager.
This was also very high as the Leap program is part of the group.
It has helped me immensely and a day doesn't go by where I don't think about how to use what i have learned.
