I am a supervisor in Branch. I have a number of roles to fulfill amongst supervising staff that include serving on the counter, forklift truck work, booking goods in and servicing equipment in the tool hire.
The apprenticeship gave me more confidence to express my self in front of others, creating presentations in the workshop environment and presenting back to a team. I learnt how to deal with different personalities in the workplace as well as the health and safety fundamentals and keeping people safe.
I found the programme very informative and a fantastic experience which gave me a chance to learn as well as meet new people. I really enjoyed this programme and the chance to gain new qualifications.
The programme was well organised although there was a lot of work to get through in the period of the time that the course lasted. I found the workshops spaced out JUST RIGHT THOUGH.
My employers were very good and gave me plenty of time to complete my work within the branch and were there for any questions i had.
The training providers were very good and were always available to phone or email if i needed help. I found this very good as it allowed me to plough on with my work rather than be stuck until the next workshop to speak to someone.
Its not so much the qualification but the work done on the qualification that has given me confidence.
There are currently no extra curricular activities to take part in although this would probably be difficult during the pandemic anyway.
Yes
i feel it is a good place to wrok with good opportunities and benefits.
