I enjoyed the workshops and the team that I was learning with but the pressure of extra work on top of my day-to-day role became concerning at times but this did help me to priortise
At the start it was confusing. We went through three versions of the learning logs, two tutors and a change of venue but once it settled down it was excellent.
Wickes allows you the freedom to work at your own pace and when you ask for help, it's always available but is not proactively given.
It's helped me to understand why people (including myself) behave the way that they do which will make me a better manager.
There's a huge range of activities in Wickes and most revolve around inclusivity, charity and diversity which I really enjoy.

You are in charge of your own destiny, You can progress in a career if you want to but there's no pressure to always be chasing the next promotion.
