Managing a team of supply chain analysts for Travis Perkins and Benchmarx division. Weekly meetings with commercial and distribution.
Yes, lots of good techniques like time management and coaching techniques stand out i.e grow model.
I enjoyed the course and especially the monthly workshops, as learning from others within the organisation was helpful. There is so much good content, but due to work pressures I didn't always digest everything that was available.
Well structured. It was a bit daunting at first, as we switched systems, but once the tutors talked us thorough it it was fine. I liked we had visibility of all the workshop dates early on was helpful. I think how the trainers adapted to the online activities was very good.
This varied. Initially was very supportive, but as work issues escalated, especially when covid struck, this became very difficult.
Although I changed tutor about a third of the way through, this was fine. My tutor was excellent, without her guidance and support I don't think I would've competed this course.
I've already put into place things I've learned. I think this is one of the key difference with other courses, as the content is so tied into the business, its very easy to apply what you learn, as most of the task involve this.
Not at the moment.
Yes
Very well run course, that is very applicable to any supervisors or managers.
Make sure the content is relevant, and you manager is fully aware of the commitment that will be involved.
