  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I very much enjoyed my work programme. Despite it being a remote placement, the staff at PWC did everything they could to ensure that my team with the business was not only insightful but also fun.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The programme was very well structured. Being eased into it with a couple of training weeks to ensure that we had a basic knowledge of what we were doing made us more comfortable. There was also then support provided through the whole placement to us, so that we always had help when it was necessary.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • As the placement is all digital, it is difficult to have extra-curricular activities. Despite this, PWC made a big effort to get people involved in different activities within the business, from weekly evening socials, to morning yoga.

  • 9a. Would you recommend PwC to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to PwC?
  • I would advise people to apply to PWC through the flying start programme. It is a fast track to getting chartered as a accountant and means that time spent at university coincides with work directly.
