  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • Typical audit tasks. (eg. Ticking boxes)

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • No

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • Online. Consideration on mental health only to the extent of allowing time off. Boring unengaging work. For some reason it's not a 9-5 job but what it means is that it's a 24hour job and no consideration that people have asocial life and other events outside of work.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • I was left 2 weeks without a client and was judged for it even though it was not my fault.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Very limited. Only to the extent of whether it helps the firm or not financially.

    3/10

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Again, my qualifications are set through the university which have messed up slightly how the module was delivered which meant we had to cover one module on placement. Yet it was difficult to ask for 1/2 hours of time off to do this. It's a partnership but at the same time it's not when it costs them money.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Essentially a lot. When I take the time to study I'm able to connect dots which in itself helps me to engage better rather than doing things mechanically without understanding what I'm doing (how I performed for most of the placement)

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Work drains you emotionally for you to have any energy to participate in these.

  • 9a. Would you recommend PwC to a friend?
  • No

  • 9b. Why?
  • Simply my personality. PwC involves a workaholic environment [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] I like to have fun and live and this company just doesn't respect that. Also salary prospects are higher in industry anyways and I'm not into audit. If you love working though this company is for you.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to PwC?
  • Not sure
