Currently I am responsible for stock adjustments in chilled section and Fresh produce. Maintaining good stock rotation and shelf filling. Till duties, cashing up, locking up and online picks are also some of my duties. Assisting with customer queries and complaints.
I've learnt many new skills specific to supermarket retail in regards to stock counts and quality control. I feel my problem solving skills have improved with new challenges.
I am looking forward to making the most out of the apprenticeship programme although it has been difficult to get stuck in under the current circumstances as I am working a lot at the moment.
I'm very happy with the my life website and the ease of its use
My Mananger and Area Manager are very supportive and were the ones who introduced me to the idea of further education specific to the job role
has been fantastic and very understanding to my circumstances. She has helped me understand how to use the websites and online learning and we have had to have remote meetings due to restrictions but she has made me feel at ease with how I should approach the programme.
I feel once completed it will help me to advance into supervisor level. I feel I am ready with my attitude to work I just need the knowledge to support that
Not at the moment due to lockdown restrictions but I'm sure there will be in the future
Yes
Yes and I have. My step son works with me and I have told many friends to apply for work as personally I really enjoy working there. I think they have an excellent ethos to support a family oriented environment.
To be confident, ensuring the manager knows you are ready to work hard and be flexible with shifts especially in currency circumstances and be ready to learn quickly.
