  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My overall role was to be a part of a team on different Engagements and help out on jobs ranging from planning to completion. Day to day I was mostly helping out Senior Associates with any work I could help with.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I learnt a lot about how an audit takes place in the real world. As well as this I learnt a lot about the different tools that PWC use to aid them in completing audit work.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I thought that with the circumstances of Covid-19 that the programme was a great experience. I got to meet lots of new people within PWC and continue my learning in a practical sense.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • I thought that the programme was structured well and that we always knew what was going on.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I received as much support as I could ever need. Whenever I had a problem there was always someone available to help.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • We had quite a bit of communication with Nottingham University over our time on placement.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I thought that what we had learned while at University definitely helped me settle in on placement.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • With Covid-19 it was a lot harder to see the social side of things. However there was still social events virtually which were available.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Because all the employees are friendly and I enjoyed working alongside them all.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to PwC?
  • To not be afraid to ask questions as everyone is willing to help.
