My role is an admin based role, on a day to day basis I format and produce documents for our engineers before they go out to the client. I also organise networking and marketing events for our Leeds office. I answer all telephone calls to the office and forward them onto the appropriate person. I ensure all documents are formatted to the organisations standard and look professional.
I have gained organisational, timekeeping, communication, business and team player values while completing my apprenticeship.
I enjoyed my apprenticeship, I liked that my line manager gave me plenty of time to complete my work for my apprenticeship and supported me 100% of the time with anything she could help me with if I needed.
Good, I had arranged visits from my tutor every 5 weeks to make sure I am on track and completing all my work correctly. I was given plenty of training by my line manager, who also gave me lots of time to complete my apprenticeship work.
My apprenticeship tutor gave me lots of support, she was always available to call or email if I had any questions on my coursework. My tutor visited my regularly too. My line manager was also very supportive and offered help where possible.
Lots, I was visited every 5 weeks by my tutor from the training provider, who helped me understand topics that I was struggling with. My tutor was always open to any questions I had.
I feel that I am much more knowledgeable on administration procedures, and how a business runs. I feel my knowledge is very valuable to the team.
We have networking events which I organise and attend. This is a great way to get to know your internal and external stakeholders.
Yes
I would recommend Troup Bywaters + Anders because they care about about their employees and growing people to be the best version of themselves. They give lots of training opportunities and feedback which I like.
Be yourself, be positive , take every opportunity given, and be a team player.
