Building services engineer - I am responsible for the mechanical aspect of designs and reports that we produce. to date, I have spent the majority of my time surveying on different sites, such as schools, hospital and prisons.
I have improved my 'client facing' role as well as leant much about the way systems operate in situ
I have enjoyed the programme and especially enjoyed looking at modules that I wouldn't have thought had been part of the industry.
The programme has been well structed from the beginning right through to my masters degree. the tutors have all been fantastic and helped tremendously.
I have received support from my employer. However, I feel that more could have been done in the early stages of my career.
The training provider(s) have been brilliant in their support and have been there whenever I have needed help.
I feel that more could have been done by my employer when I was going through my qualification. the work I was undertaking had minimal relevance to what I was learning and I could not put it into practice.
There have been a number of professional networking events that I have had the pleasure of attending, hosting and organising.
Yes
Its a good company with good values. there is a family feel to the office.
Don't worry about your previous qualifications. as long as you show willing, you can pick things up as you go.
