My role involves serving customers on the till, date checking, putting out stock and doing instore deliveries.
I am currently doing my apprenticeship to become a duty manager and have so far learned to give colleagues cash for the till, put the tills on in the morning before the store opens and how to date check using our electronic gun.
I like my programme because I enjoy learning the do's and don't of working in retail.
It's very easy to use, I can find everything I need easily and if I have any problems, my trainer is just an email away, which is great.
I haven't had much help but only because I haven't really needed it as of yet but I know they will be happy to help.
They're great. If I need any help, they are just an email away.
I feel great learning new things each day when at work so every day is different.

Since starting my job at Iceland, I have been given a reward for my efforts in being a team player, helping out and covering shifts at short notice... I have never been given anything at any other job I have had, so its nice to be noticed for the extra effort you're putting in. I have also had a few gift vouchers on different occasions to use instore as a thank you for working during Covid-19, so that's been fab, as its been hard on all staff. Overall I feel it is a brilliant company to work for.
Be prepare to put in the work as Iceland is a busy store and you will always have something to do.
