I work as a tax preparer and prepare tax returns for different clients. I use a range of different programs on a day to day basis.
I have developed my communication skills and people skills through working with so many different people. I have learnt lots of new technical skills which are needed for my job.
I enjoy my programme a lot. I receive a lot of support from my peers and feel as though the programme has been well structuered and organised for apprentices.
I feel very valued. Even though I am not very high up in the company I feel as though I am treated just the same as everybody else. I feel as though the work I do is recognised.
I think the programme is very well organised and structured. We all know what pathway the apprenticeship consists of and what we need to do to reach the end goal. We have lots of different contacts for the apprenticeship so have sources iif we need help.
I have not started studying for my qualifications yet so have not met my tutor or coaches who will help me with my tax qualification. However the information and contact we have had so far has been very useful.
I receive lots of support from my employer. My peers are very friendly and help me with any problems or queries I have regarding work or my apprenticeship. My employer has provided me with a good range of resources and contacts so I can progress in my apprenticeship.
Very well. My salary covers all of my costs including travel costs to get to work.
Yes there are lots of opportunities outside of work. There are always socials and there are lots of projects and teams you can get involved in.
Yes
It is a very good place to work. I feel like a valued employee and thinkt he higher aprenticeship programme in place is very well structured and great for young people wanting to start a career in the finance industry.
Apply as soon as possible so vacancies aren't taken. Working at PwC is great you meet lots of interesting people and you have lots of support around you throughout your programme. Research before interviews and assessments as it is important to know exactly what you are applying for and what the company is like.
