My role includes providing office support, working with a large amount of data and reports. As well as this, there are simple office tasks to undertake each day including emails, meetings and organisational tasks. There is a vast range of systems to learn and develop your skills within and these are used on a daily basis.
I have learnt a huge range of new skills through my role at Leonardo. The role allows for development of existing skills such as IT and communication skills.
The programme is structured well and as an apprentice you get involved in many tasks and projects within the business. The placements I have been in so far have always got a plan in place for my development.
I receive a large amount of support from my employer with reviews and meetings monthly, with targets set and a focus on my development in my role.
Learning alongside my working role in Leonardo’s is largely beneficial for the knowledge side to Business as a whole.
There is a lot of opportunities and activities to get involved in.
