I work in the garden center. I help customers and do tasks making sure stock is out and the database is correct also setting up displays and sections of the shop, Yake orders for customers and setup delivery
I have learnt many new skills and developed one I already had. I have been on some training courses ad through my apprenticeship has helped me improve my skills and study what I am doing and improve myself.
I really enjoy the work and find my teacher very helpful and easy to work with. My manager has been very supportive in providing me with time needed to study. I find the resources provide by lifetime training to be very helpful and really enjoy using these.
I have regular contact with my teacher and he is very supportive of me. The work has been aid out very well covering lots of topics to keep me engaged. They provide very good resources and are very well organized. I have my meeting once per month and can contact me teacher with any question when they arise.
My employer is very supportive and allows me the time needed to study and get things done. They will provide me with any resources I need to help me develop my skills. My managers are very approachable to ask any question and finding any answers to my questions.
I receive all the support I need and feel the tutor is available when I need anything. They really help me and provide ways I can improve myself. They have provide me with very helpful websites and resources I can use. They are very good at getting back to me with any questions asked.
It makes me feel more confident in my job role and fully understand the job I am doing. It also helps me self reflect on my role to see where I can make improvements. I feel doing the course has helped me improve in my job.
We have yammer which has different groups you can join and discuss similar interests. We also do stuff in store to raise money for charity.

It is a fun place to work and you feel the company has your best interests at heart. They are very supportive and understanding of your needs and there is opportunity to improve yourself and work your way up the company.
Its well worth doing and can really help you improve. Sometimes the work can be daunting but the tutors are very supportive and understanding. I would speak to your manager and find out what support they can give you.
