My role is based full time at college, spending 3 days learning practical skills and 1 learning theory based knowledge.
I have learnt lots of new practical skills that such as using hand tools that will benefit my career in the future
It’s very enjoyable as the courses are engaging and interesting
My employers are very supportive and willing to help with most things. They are regularly in contact to see how we are getting on.
Our training manager is very knowledgeable and is always willing to answer questions regarding our qualifications
There’s an apprentice group that hold all sorts of events and evenings for the apprentices

The course is a very good opportunity to develop skills that will contribute towards a fulfilling career. The amount of support and training given is few and far between
Learn how to manage time and organize yourself as there is quite a large work load, but definitely worth it.
