I am a support worker at Seymour house. I work with women that have learning disabilities and mental health, I support these ladies to live as independently as they can.
Working in a care home has helped me to develop, my cooking skills and other skills around the house. I am now aware of legislated and company policies.
my assessor from impact futures has managed to keep me on track and engaged!
Very good
No support this is done independently
I can call on my assessor whenever I need help or have a query!
By doing this qualification it has made me more alert and able to spot wrong doings in the workplace.

Be prepared to work a lot of hours! I would only advise being a care worker if you care or enjoy cleaning!
