Currently my main role is prepaing Tax Returns, as well as interacting with clients via email and telephone to advise them on their taxes.
I have learnt a huge amount about the UK tax system as well as developing new IT skills on Tax specific software. I have also developed my exsiting skills on programs such as Excel and PowerPoint.
I am really enjoying my apprenticeship so far, the day-to-day is varied and interesting, and everyone here is very friendly and welcoming.
I definately feel valued by my employer, they have clearly put a lot of effort into organising the scheme as training sessions and personal guidance has been brilliant.
My programme feels very well organised. Especially the training side of things, where we had an intensive 2 day course at the beginnning, and now weekly refresher sessions on the more technical parts of our job.
As I have not yet begun my Professional Qualification this is hard to say, however internal training relating to the job role has been very good.
I receive plenty of support from my employer, as well as being assigned a personal People Manager, who has helped me settle in and given me guidance throughout my employment at PwC.
My salary is very competitive and higher than I would expect from an Apprenticeship. There is also a fantastic benefits system which is very customisable to suit my lifestyle needs.
My team organises social events outside of work, there is also an oppurtunity for various charitable work.
Yes
The organisation of the course has been excellent, and the salary is much higher than what I would expect from an Apprenticeship.
Apply as early as you can and consider this as a viable alternative to University.
