Spectating others do electrical jobs and then completing those jobs by myself with supervision with constructive feedback, maintenance of electrical components and fittings/ install new equipment.
I have learnt how to terminate cables, test and fault find, also trace circuits.
I really enjoy learning as much as I can and practising for the future jobs, I enjoy doing jobs by myself that I have learnt how to do from others.
It is organised, i work 4 days a week and go to college to learn once a week. It's a good balance between theory and practical.
If I am in need of support I will ask and I will get the help I need, the key is to ask.
I get a lot of support from my training provider inside and out of college days and hours, if I am ever stuck I can ask for help and they tell me what I am aiming for and give me targets to reach.
It helps me understand what I can already do physically and I understand the theory behind it all which goes together nicely.
There currently isn't any that I am aware of but during work I have made friends and organised things for outside of work to do, such as going to the gym, etc.
Yes
Because Engie is full of surprises and young people need to learn for the world to move on, there is a lot of room for learning and self improvement during the courses.
I would say just be yourself and be honest, explain your future goals and emphasise your willing to learn.
