I am a Teaching Assistant in reception. I support the class teacher when setting up activities in the class and during lesson times, supporting children that may need extra help.
I have learnt a lot through the coursework I have completed and I have been able use my knowledge when completing tasks at work and when working with the children. I will also be able to support children and staff more confidently in the future and I look forward to implementing my new skills.
I have really enjoyed the programme as it has been very beneficial to complete my duties at work. I have found all of the assignments interesting and all of the information has been important and relevant to know for my job which also means it has been so helpful and it has built up my confidence Immensely.
I think it has been very organised and set out so that it is clear what needs to be done.
My employers are amazing and they have been extremely supportive. They always answer any queries I have and will offer advice when needed.
I feel very lucky as my training provider has also been very supportive and any queries I have had have always been answered efficiently and great advice and help given. The last year has been difficult (covid 19) but my tutor has kept us up to date with information to ensure that we knew what we was doing which I found very helpful and reassuring. Helo was given with webinars offered which was extremely helpful with maths and English and the support was great on the webinars.
I think I it will be extremely benefical, not just for me but also the teachers and children that I support and I am a lot for confident and I have more ideas that I can input to my job on a daily basis.
Before Covid I used to assist a Sports Club after school for year 2 children where I was assist the PE teacher in playing team games and other games , ensuring that all the children would join in
Yes
I would recommend them as they have given me fantastic support and given me the confidence to believe that i can actually complete tasks myself and that I am good at wot I do which will definitely help me on a daily basis and it makes me enjoy my job even more.
I would say you get out what you put in so you have to work hard but then when you get the great Mark's it is definitely worth all the hard work. It was not easy but I have gained so much.
