Liaising with colleagues from Mumbai, submitting information to create new organisations and policy references. Creating slips and endorsements. Send EoC and CoC to clients. Send monthly reports to insurers.
Yes, I have learnt how to improve my email structure and the way I communicate with both colleagues and external parties.
Despite working from home, I thoroughly enjoy my apprenticeship scheme, as even though I do not have the physical presence of my colleagues I feel comfortable enough to ring them if I have any queries or difficulties. In addition, the regular calls provided for the exams involved make the qualification enjoyable also.
Overall, the programme is structured and organised very efficiently and I feel as though it has adapted well to the circumstances. The sessions are planned well in advance which makes it easier as they can be noted and therefore know our availability.
The amount of amazing support I have received cannot be commended enough, both from colleagues within my team and those in neighbouring teams. This includes both for my exam studies and for my day to day tasks.
I have just sat my LM2 exam, and the support has been great, The Growth Company has provided 2 hour long sessions weekly to cover different chapters and provide activities to be completed. So far, the qualification has been helpful in giving me the overview of the insurance industry as a whole and the processes involved when covering a risk- both the role of underwriters and brokers. There are many of the different products available covered which is informative, though it would have been even better if ATE was covered as this is the team I work within.
Yes there are. I am currently involved in the YPN (young professionals network), and hope to be part of some of the sports teams when things are more 'normal' and am back into the office. Though, there have been quizzes in the past and some more planned in the near future.

As being an internationally operating brokerage there are great opportunities to be exposed to across the globe. In addition, all colleagues want the best for you which creates a great work environment.
