Improving programming skills every day, always something new to learn or develop. Learning how to communicate in a professional environment is also built.
The programme is amazing. There is full support from everyone and you are encouraged to ask questions. Hard work is recognized and appreciated and there always to do and skills to learn. If you enjoy programming then this program is perfect.
Very well structured. Days are organized and any changes are well communicated. There are 2 days a week at university and 3 days a week at the firm. You are notified well ahead of time what days you will be working or studying. There is also ample time for study leave.
There is a lot of support from everyone in the firm. Managers, team members, other people in the same program - there is always someone you can reach out to. There also people to help if issues are not work or uni related.
There are many different networks available to join such as the LGBT network, Black Engineers network, Sikh network etc. You are also encourage to do charitable events and teams tend to have monthly socials outside of work.
Yes
They care about their employees. The amount of support available is incredible and welcoming. Teams make you feel involved and help you fit right in. Work ethic is also incredible and motivating. There is so much more to do than just "work"
Research the firm. Have questions ready to ask in interviews. Be confident. You need to be able to manage your time well as you will be working and studying at the same time. Although there is support for it, ultimately it is up to you to be able to manage your time and stay on top of things.
