1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Each day varies especially as a new start. I will be at the training school, as well as college and on-site. The training is very thorough which makes me feel confident about my future.

I'm learning so much just now as this is a total new industry to me. Its exciting.

All of it so far!

Extremely well. All the team are so caring and have made me feel so welcome.

SSE have been so supportive since day 1. They've made me feel at home and cared about.

I'm supported through everything I do

7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

What I've learnt so far has given me a good understanding of what to expect on a day to day basis. As I've not been out on site yet, I've not been able to put what I've learned into practice so I'm excited to do that.

8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

I'm honestly not sure, however, I presume so.

9a. Would you recommend SSE to a friend?

Yes

9b. Why?

They're such a caring company. From day 1 I have felt valued. Especially being an apprentice, I'm just starting out in a new career and everyone is so lovely and welcoming. I feel extremely lucky to work for such a fantastic company.

10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to SSE?

Going through the interview stage, have as much knowledge as possible about the company and the role you are interviewing for. Be confident and work hard. Its worth it.
