Nursery practitoner Review

In order to complete my apprenticeship I have been undertaking a role in a nursery. I mainly work with pre school and help in all aspects such as nappy changes, lunch and planning activities

Communication, team work, problem solving, leadership and essay writing

I throughly enjoy my programme and learn daily. My trainer has helped me massively with anything I have been stuck on and re covid has supported me massively

I think my programme is very organised especially in regards to covid and how my trainer has adapted due to not being able to see me in person

I receive a lot of support and training opportunities to develop the knowledge my trainer has taught me. Training such as safeguarding, first aid and food hygiene

I received as much support as I need and I think as much as possible! My trainer is a text or call away and is always happy to answer my emails however silly the question!

I think my trainer has helped me massively as I haven’t previously worked in the education sector so I have to learn on the job. My trainer has helped me develop all the knowledge I know as well as my confidence

Unfortunately not due to covid and the restrictions such as lockdown and the tier systems! Hopefully once we are more free I may be able to!

They are willing to help and the trainers are exactly the type of people you need! Helpful and wanting you to succeed! My trainer has been my biggest confidence boost

I would say to just apply! It’s such a rewarding experience and they are always understanding especially if you have had bad days they are always there to talk and help
