I spend 2 days a week at Uni and 3 days a week at work placement across the 4 years. My role involves learning about and working alongside software engineers on various projects.
I have learnt programming skills in C# and C++. Working with databases and taking part in the lifecycle of a project.
I really enjoy the mix between uni and work and applying the things I have learnt to professional projects.
It is structured well as I get regular reviews weekly and also formal reviews every 12 weeks to set goals and plan my development.
I have regular meeting with my line manager to discuss my progress.
My training provider has provided enough support.
I am part of the Women in engineering network
