As an apprentice it is my job to gain experience of the working environment by being exposed to team based work in order to complete tasks. This involves regular communication and frequent performance checks.
Since starting my apprenticeship, I have improved my confidence immensely, I now feel comfortable talking to others in a variety of situations. I have also been given the opportunity to develop my IT skills.
I have really enjoyed the program as it has presented me with lots of opportunities to develop myself further and the opportunities for the future look even more appealing.
The organisation is well structured for a large company, requests are met on time and support is always available.
The company greatly supports their employees. Help is always available at any time and I have always felt that everyone is understanding.
When working towards the qualification you are expected to complete some research on your own. Support is available when asked for.
I have felt that the studying has improved my ability to understand the work better. This has in turn allowed me to preform at a higher level.
The company regularly sends out emails for optional courses, well-being sessions or activities, There is always something for everyone.
Yes
When working for this company you feel like you are truly part of the organisation. Everyone is polite and helpful and I feel like I am getting the best support possible.
My advice would be to truly be open and honest about yourself. I would try to show your passion for the area of work and don’t be afraid to say that you don’t understand something.
