Taking engineers working hours and adding them to a tracker to monitor current labour spend. I then compare this to the budget and go through the results with department managers.
I have learned how to use Microsoft Project and developed my skills with Microsoft Excel
There is a lot to take on at the start but I am thoroughly enjoying my current placement and there is a lot of support on offer from the early careers team.
There is a clear organisation structure in my placement and I am given a sufficient amount of work. There was also a solid induction and training process at the start.
I receive a lot of support. I have frequent meetings with my line manager and there are assistance programmes on offer.
I get a lot of support from my tutors who are all available via email or Canvas.
My qualification is helping me to understand why we do things certain ways in my placement and also gives context to the processes and reviews we have.
There are frequent activities to get involved in within the business as well as the opportunity to get involved in stretch assignments which help me develop and count towards my apprenticeship.

It is a great place to work with so much going on. The wide range of sectors mean there is something for everyone's taste
