  • As a new apprentice I rotate through different training modules to gain an understanding into the skills I will need to employ when I start placements within the business therefore on a day-to-day basis I am always learning different practical skills and engineering principles.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have developed both new skills and further progressed my existing skills in engineering which has helped me to transition into the company very easily. The training is very informative but easily picked up and you are never left to struggle which is why so many people learn so much during their first year.

  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • I would recommend BAE Systems to a friend as it is not only a prestigious company to work for but it is also a great working environment where you learn so many new skills and meet so many nice people. There are many company benefits and the progression that is available throughout the company is endless.

  • When applying for any role at BAE Systems you need to research the company, what the role is and how the role you are applying for relates to your experience or ambitions. Be informative on your application and try and stand out from everyone else by doing different things. I would also definitely recommend work experience in the area you are applying for or at BAE Systems itself.
