Networking, Time management and communication skills continually developed on top of all the professional engineering skills.
The support you get is amazing and even only being in my first year I can see my future career unfolding in front of my eyes and it's incredibly exciting.
Everything is always a work in progress they are always looking to improve. There was a steep learning curve due to having to work around COVID but now I am 5 months in, I would say the structure is very clear and things seem to be organised.
Lots of support, mangers are approachable about any issue whether its work related or more personal. Apprentices in older years are also extremely supportive and helpful.
Lecturers are all very approachable and respond quickly with the required support.
As they are teaching the degree I get my fundamental understanding through them, which is then built on with the support of the business.
On my site we have an Apprentice Association which includes apprentices, graduates and interns and they organise social events and sports teams etc.
