Reconciling various bank statements to line of business systems operated within the business. Ensuring quality bank reconciliations are produced and queries are assigned to the relevant resolver teams to ensure prompt resolution.
I have developed existing skills such as communication where I have challenged myself to test myself and speaking in front of more people than I would usually be comfortable with. I have learnt new technical skills such as analytical, problem solving, teamwork and handling financial information.
Although challenging at times, i find the programme rewarding and beneficial. I try to ensure I maintain the correct balance between my work and my studying but also find that they both compliment each other at times. I enjoy the challenge and enjoy developing new skills in which i have learnt through my work and studies.
Overall, it is organised well however occasionally there has not been enough clarity around additional modules and tasks that need to be completed as I work towards the end of my apprenticeship. regular catch up calls with a talent coach do help me keep on top of the course.
Financial support towards my exams / tuition and study days both help me work towards my goal
revision days, question based days, exam tips and past paper questions in the lead up to sitting an exam all help towards my qualification
The skills i have learnt through my qualification help me to perform better within the workplace as there are a lot of transferable skills which i can then apply to my role. Particularly analystical, professional scepticism and business acumen
Prior to covid, there were professional networking opportunities and sports events which helped integrate people within the business
