I haven't yet began my role properly as I am currently in training but I will be responsible for updating due dates in CC SAP system and ongoing management, processing delivery and invoice discrepancies to ensure timely resolutions, enabling high customer satisfaction through effective (first time right) and efficient processing of orders, alongside undertaking apprenticeship programme training and updating my portfolio of evidence on a regular basis.
I have developed my skills of communication, teamwork, confidence, time management and organisation. I have also developed newer skills such as presentation skills.
Although I haven't been at Computacenter for that long, I am really enjoying my time here. We are always kept busy with things to do but not overloaded, which makes the days go fast! The people are also really nice and I have felt very supported throughout.
My programme is very well organised and structured. I always have tasks to be getting on with but never feel overwhelmed with everything. I also always have gaps in between my meetings at the moment which helps me to process the information I learn better.
I receive lots of support from my employer and have regular one to one meetings with my manager where we discuss how I am settling in, within the company and my team.
I receive lots of support and have meeting with my tutor roughly every 4 weeks to discuss my progress and receive any feedback from my assignments. I have one day each week that is strictly for my apprenticeship and working towards getting my qualification, which allows me to do all my work easily.
As I am a new starter, I haven't done much for my apprenticeship nor have I started my role properly yet. However, I have done work on things such as a personal development plan within my qualification, which will help me to progress well within my role and I know what skills I need to work on and ways to do so.
There is a community especially for younger people, called Fresh Minds, to ensure they have a voice within the company. This helps me to connect with other people from all around the business and also helps to develop my knowledge of the company.
Yes
I have received great support since being here and have already developed my skills greatly and learnt many new ones.
Make the most of all opportunities and make sure to make an effort to connect with other people within the business to expand your network.
