Tasks vary day to day so each day is interesting. The hands on experience is helping me to learn so much quicker than my non degree apprentice peers at uni. Very supportive staff helping me with all tasks.
Using new software/ developing software skills week in week out. Very supportive team who help with any questions I may have.
Wonderful experience. Feel very grateful to be part of such a wonderful company. Been welcomed by the team since day one. Managers very approachable.
Regular meetings with manager to discuss progress. Have a buddy to help with general things and an assigned mentor to help guide me through engineering progress. One uni day per week, never expected to do work on this day. Team very understanding of how important my studies are.
Daily catch ups with team to check I have enough/not too much work. Managers very approachable and easy to speak to if I need help. Rest of team also happy to help. Assigned wellbeing member of staff to help with anything if needed.
Very flexible if tutorials/group work/ opportunities arise outside of my allocated uni day.
The degree and the role itself go hand in hand. Work makes my understanding of the degree better and vice versa.
Hard to say due to Covid 19
