Involved in project work with my team, working from home and attending university in block weeks 6 times yearly.
Overall knowledge on Transport planning and construction in the built environment. Lots of external training courses with continued education on these topics. Teamwork and working independently on project work
I enjoy the project work and the topics of work, my team is very supportive and help me when i need it. I Enjoy university and hope to be on campus in september.
The start of the course was not well structured with being in a new topic of work, stegta could have done better being in contact with me and overall helping me when i was younger. University is relatively independent but receive good feedback from my lecturers.
I receive lots of support from my employer by getting continuous development and frequent work that keeps me busy. I can get support when i need and have a mentor in my team that checks up on me.
I have a mentor that frequently checks up on me and used to get support from my co-workers, due to being in university now i mainly work independently.
My qualification helps me greatly as i am studying directly what i am working in, i know a lot more about my industry and will continue to learn more.
There are lots of events offered in work, sports days, socials that we can get involved in, currently all cancelled due to covid. Out of work i normally take part in sports and events.
Yes
Being the first apprentice it has been good to see over the 5/6 years here how the support has grown and what they can offer for young individuals. Very good schemes.
Get involved, to try put yourself out there by attending most events and socials. Meet people in the company and ask for help.
