Data engineer using SQL and python to perform ETL on various data sources
Learnt coding skills and developed soft skills such as presenting
I enjoyed learning knew things on the programme and was given a wide range of opportunities to learn different aspects of the job
Programme was well organised to rotate around different areas to learn different skills / increase exposure
Support from employer was extremely good, was given as much time as I needed to develop and write up projects
At first seemed like I was getting good support. However I told them from day one I was looking to earn a merit or distinction. Despite this my portfolio was misssing an aspect that prevented my getting any more than a pass. This should've been pointed out to me and is disappointing they didn't have the knowledge to correctly guide me towards my goal
The skills I've learnt are integral to my day job

A good company to work for, friendly environment.
Application process is very smooth. The assessment day is really fun so don't stress to much about preparing for it. That being said, interview prep, knowing the bank values and remember the STAR interview technique
