Associate Using the company audit system, updated testing and reviewing accounts and confirming balances. Working with in an audit team and reporting to more senior members of staff. Being in contact with the client you are working on both face to face and via email and phone contact. Responsibility for confirming data andaccounts.
Yes, learnt how to use company systems, understanding of financial documents has increased and my understanding of general company work.
It's been very hard, lots of long hours but the people who i work with are in the same situation and all very friendly and easy to work with and also very happy to help.
Appreciated by senior members of the team you work on, less so by people outside of that team.
it's well organised, normally busy whilst at work, and my time is utilised.
University is in contact frequently, also sets up buddies who are former students off the course.
Get set up with people managers who you can talk to.
Feel that the salary does not reflect the actual hours worked. Frequently work considerably more hours. Expected to work atleast 90 minutes more a day than you are paid for.
Lots of people at similar age/level in the company who you can socialise with. Various sports teams that you can go to to interact with other member sof the office.
