My role requires me to run shifts, using knowledge gained through workplace training and by laws & regulations to run a safe workplace and an excellent place for guests to visit us. I have a lot of responsibilities, which include training and hiring, working within a team, and making difficult decisions which could affect the Business.
I have learnt how to better myself as a manager, but also as a leader. By doing my apprenticeship i have been able to help my team and share my knowledge to help further development in the team too. I have also learnt a lot about how i spend my time, helping me to utilise it and use my time more effectively.
I have really enjoyed the learning throughout this programme, it has really helped me to be a stronger leader but also a stronger person too.
My programme was very well structured and organised, it had a flow through each subject which would like directly to my job.
I received so much support from my employer as she also does extra learning too. I found that it helped develop new ideas using both our learning.
My training provider was great at getting in touch/ helping me with confusion. this was really good more so throughout each lockdown, when times were confusing.
I think that this course has helped me to perform better as i have realised my potential as a manager but also a leader. this has helped me to motivate and inspire my team, but also to develop on my own weaknesses too.
Yes, we have an online training programme that is to help aid your job role with further training. for example at the moment i am completing my assistant manager training programme and i have just completed level 3 food safety, and level 3 fire health and safety.
Yes
It is a great place to work, with plently of development opportunities, and learning opportunities too. There is also a great work/life balance, but also brilliant bonus schemes too.
To be prepared to learn and develop, but to also expect the best from an employer too.
