Assistant manager, in my day to day role I help assist the General Manger in the daily runnings of the pub and our team.
Yes, I started the apprenticeship whilst a Supervisor training towards AM level, and throughout I have been able to advance my people management and team leading skills with the help of the apprenticeship. Whilst also completing fire health and safety and food safety courses too.
I enjoy learning new things, improving upon current skills and keeping my mind active and focused.
I think the course is structured really well in the way you learn, its very accessible online and requires commitment to independent learning. I personally had a slightly unorganised experience in the beginning however I still enjoyed the learning.
I received support when seeking it.
The trainer I had for the second half of my course and throughout the EPA was extremely helpful and supportive, he answered every question I had and was great!
Greatly so! There are lots of things and topics learnt throughout the programme that I don't think I would have learnt in my job role.
I have some great close friends who I work and socialise with, we also a a team do spend nights out together!
Yes
Good company to work for, decent employee benefits and is always room for progression!
Be prepared for more than just a weekend 'bar job'! Great community, great friends and a great working environment.
