I am in CoE Pensons, so been auditing Pension FSLI throughout the placement. I have been documenting supports, doing testing and contacting clients and thrid parties on a regular basis.
I have learnt to time manage as I was booked on many job at the same time.
It is integrated with my degree, although I would want to be able to work from home as the degree can be done remotely, we also work remotely throughout placement but need to come back to the UK for the placement and there is no flexibility around this.
It is well structured as in it is a definite route to become a qualified chartered accountant we cannot pick any selective modules which is a disadvantage in my opinion.
They do provide all kind of support, however, due to covid 19, I did not wish to stay in the UK and go back home. They did compromise in the end, but I think the firm should really think about working from anywhere in the world.
The support from university is great, all lecturers are responsive even with remote working
I can use my knowledge gained in university in practice
There are social activities
Yes
A great company overall
