I am a shift manager so my job involves making sure the store stays open on my shift and that all the jobs I have been given are done.
I knew most of the job roles before I started the job as I had progressed from a customer team member, which made it easier to get into the job. I have learnt more about the policies and ways of doing things within the coop
I enjoy it enough. My life is very hectic at the moment and i'm finding the apprenticeship really difficult. It's going okay but I know that I am certainly not cut out for it like I thought I was. That is nothing to reflect on the people who have organised the apprenticeship, I think they way they have done it is fantastic.
Very well organised.
I receive enough support from my employer. As we are in a pandemic, it is rare that I see my boss to talk about the apprenticeship but he supports whenever he can.
My tutor is really good. She tries to explain things in a way that I will understand, and she does her best to help me whenever she can.
I have learnt small tips and tricks to help me work better within the role. AS I have only just gotten the job as a Manager, I haven't yet had the chance to put most of the jobs to work.
There are not.
Yes
They are a community based company who try their best to help whoever they can.
I don't think there is much advice I could give as every Co-op is different but I guess I would say to just be yourself no matter what.
