I’m a Souschef in Pitcher and Piano Nottingham. My job role is to support head chef in kitchen management and make sure all chefs follow rules and procedures. I’m also involved in food production and service.
Yes I’ve learned new skills and developed existing skills to the higher level.
I do enjoy my program a lot because I can grow my skills and I can learn a lot new. Especially in kitchen management parts but also in kitchen rules and laws.
My program is very well organised. My teacher has very good knowledge and I’ve attended a lot useful workshops.
I do get support because my employer always organise time off for me to get my apprenticeship sorted.
A lot of support and help. I’m very satisfied about it.
I can definitely be a better manager, I did learn a lot about how to behave in difficult situations and how to do my job better.
There is not a lot of this. We had once challenge to cook food at home and then post it online on the group.
