My role includes completing activities for a client contract while also completing my assignments for my Degree.
I've developed my time management skills and my work-lif balance through equally and effectively completing both responsibilities. I've also developed many professional skills with all the client work I've completed
I completed a higher apprenticeship before so I would say I really enjoy the programme by taking on a degree apprenticeship. Being at the company for over 3 years I feel I have a place within IBM's culture, project teams etc.
The degree apprentice I'm completing has been organised in partnership with Manchester Metropolitan University so I would say it is very organised and planned out, even with all the COVID pushbacks
I recieved a lot of support from my employer as they provide the work-based experience where I can put the theory from University to practice in client-based scenarios.

I am able to learn many concepts such as project management and put them to practice in many client-based scenarios, ensuring that I am working to the best of my ability.
I am currently co-leading the Foundation BAME External campaign so there are many opportunities and giveback activities for IBMers to be a part of. It is encouraged within IBM to take part in many activities.
Yes
It is a great, reputable place to work with many unique opportunities and client-based scenarios to be a part of.
Make sure to do your research on the company and if you make it to the assessment centre, please make sure to be yourself and not put on a persona for the day - IBM are looking to hire the real you so bring all your strong points with the real version of you.
