On a day-to-day basis, I will usually attend meetings where I discuss with those who I am working on my projects with, the work we have completed, the work we are doing, and the future plans. I have been involved with front-end web development, testing, creating documentation, managing a scrum team, and investigating a integration with an in-house platform and a off-the-shelf solution.
I have been in many situations where I have been able to develop my personal skills like teamwork, communication, leadership etc. Being at Vodafone, has helped me gain exposure to projects which I can use to learn coding in.
I enjoy my programme, as it is very diverse in the choice of things that I can work in and it is not very repetitive, so it is stimulating for me.
The apprenticeship programme I am on is very well structured. They provide clear communication to us to let us know of module start dates, assignment briefs and deadlines. The structure is consistent and this is very helpful to me as I like having everything organised.
Vodafone provide a lot of support for me as I have a lot of time to spend working on my assignments, and they have resources for me to take courses to help me develop my coding and other technical skills that I can use at the workplace or elsewhere.
My training provider provides a lot of support. We are free to ask them questions, whenever we are need of help and they provide sufficient amount of documentation and information for one to understand everything.
The modules that I learn from my training provider has helped me a lot in my role, as the knowledge I gain from there helps me to understand what is going on in my project better and be educated about the processes.
Vodafone offer many benefits. We have a gym in the company that employees can use, there are apprenticeship networking events, and my department often set up games that teams can play together online as we are in work from home mode now
Yes
I would recommend Vodafone as a place to obtain a degree apprenticeship as it is a company that is growing, and so you can see many changes happen and this will give you exposure and experience that you cannot get elsewhere. The culture at Vodafone is very friendly, and people are always ready to help. They understand that you are there to learn and do not expect you to know everything from the start.
Be yourself, research about Vodafone beforehand and see how you have aligned to our morals and values in your own life, think of real-life situations where you have developed your skills and how
